Agreement to Terms:
By enrolling yourself or your child at Paradigm Martial Arts, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. You also acknowledge that continued participation in classes constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

1. Membership Categories
We offer the following membership options:
• Little Ninjas Beginners
• Little Ninjas Advanced
• Juniors
• Advanced
• Adults
Each membership grants access to the classes suitable for the member’s age and skill level.

2. Payments & Membership Terms
2.1 First Payment & Direct Debit
• The first month’s membership fee is payable upfront by cash or card.
• Following this, monthly payments are collected via Direct Debit, starting one month after sign-up.
2.2 Minimum Commitment
• All memberships require a 6-month commitment.
• After this period, memberships automatically convert to rolling monthly agreements.
2.3 Annual Insurance Fee
• All members must pay an annual insurance fee of £30, collected via Direct Debit on 1st September.
• Insurance is mandatory for participation in all classes due to the contact nature of kickboxing.
• Members without valid insurance cannot participate until payment is made.

3. Cancellations & Refunds
• Memberships may be cancelled with one month’s written notice.
• No refunds are available for missed classes or early cancellations.
• After the initial 6-month commitment, memberships continue on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled.

4. Class Booking & Attendance
• All classes must be booked in advance via our booking app (link provided in your welcome email).
• Class numbers are limited; unbooked members may be turned away.
• Arriving late does not guarantee entry.

5. Behaviour, Conduct & Safety Rules
5.1 Children’s Conduct
• Children must follow instructor directions at all times.
• Unsafe or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the class for safety reasons.
5.2 Mandatory Safety Gear
• Little Ninjas Advanced and above: Gloves, head guard, foot pads.
• Open Sparring Classes: Full sparring kit plus a mouthguard is required.
• Children without the appropriate safety gear cannot participate in sparring.

6. Parents & Observation
• Parents are welcome to watch classes.
• Children should remain on the mat and follow instructor instructions.
• Coaching from the sidelines is not permitted.

7. Medical Information
• A medical questionnaire must be completed on the app before training begins.
• Parents/members must update information if circumstances change.

8. Freezing Memberships & Rejoining
• Memberships may only be frozen for valid medical reasons, supported by evidence if requested.
• Members who cancel and wish to rejoin will be required to pay a joining fee.

9. Gym Rules
• No shoes are to be worn on the training mats.
• Respect instructors, fellow members, equipment, and facilities at all times.

10. Liability & Insurance
• Paradigm Martial Arts holds public liability insurance.
• Members acknowledge that martial arts training carries inherent risks.
• Members agree to train safely, follow instructions, and take responsibility for their own participation.

11. Gradings
• Gradings are held approximately every 12–16 weeks.
• Children are expected to train consistently and be ready for grading at these intervals.
• Each grading costs £30, which includes belt and certificate.
• Instructors may defer grading if the child is not ready.

12. Media & Photography
• Photos and videos may be taken for promotional and social media purposes.
• Please notify staff if you do not consent to your child being included and opt out via the membership app.
